Friends and Patrons of the International Festival also have access to an exclusive programme of year round events, including everything from backstage tours and talks with artists to overseas trips to joining us for a pre-performance or interval drink during the International Festival. We also offer the chance to catch up with fellow members and arts lovers at our regular Friends on Monday coffee mornings plus lunches and afternoon teas throughout the year. These events provide exclusive behind-the-scenes insights, bringing you closer to the International Festival and enhancing your festival experience year round.

The award-winning gourmet steak restaurant has created an exquisite three course lunch menu that’s perfect for a festive winter’s day.

Join Andrew Moore, Head of Music at the International Festival, in an exclusive talk to Friends and Patrons about the curation and scheduling of Queen’s Hall and Usher Hall concerts. Find out how long it takes to plan a Festival, which factors determine creative choices, and the issues that can arise right up until the conductors raise their baton. Followed by a Q&A with Andrew, this event is a must for avid fans of classical music and those who’d like to know more about what goes on behind-the-scenes.
