Planning Administrator (long term contract)
Salary: £23,000 pro rata
Contract: July 2017 - September 2018
The Edinburgh International Festival is looking for a dedicated Planning Administrator to join the Planning Department. This is a new role to support the planning and production process for all events presented during the Festival.
You will likely be from a theatre, dance or opera background, work with a keen eye to detail, and be able to prioritise and multi-task across various projects, in a busy team environment.

Head of Development
Salary: circa £40,000 per annum
The Edinburgh International Festival is looking for an experienced, passionate and dedicated Head of Development to join our fundraising team. Charged with maximising fundraising income for the International Festival, you will work alongside the Director of Development to deliver fundraising targets and shape the fundraising strategy whilst managing the development team. With direct responsibility for increasing income from trusts, foundations and major gift donations from new and existing partners, you will help us deliver Festival Director Fergus Linehan’s vision for the International Festival; an unparalleled celebration of the performing arts, which brings some of the most exciting and creative artists working today to audiences from around the world.
This is great opportunity to work within one of the world’s leading performing arts festivals and the right appointment is seen as a high priority for the International Festival. We look to appoint a seasoned development professional with a proven track record of securing and developing large scale funding campaigns and a meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication and decision-making skills with a positive attitude and a hands-on approach.
You may have experience of heading an arts fundraising team and have an interest in working within a festival setting or managing a not for profit organisation outwith the arts sector with an interest in moving to an arts organisation. Whatever your background you will need to be creative and enthusiastic to work with the International Festival team and its partners.
