Take your time!

Slow down! Remember, there are a few days between launch and the first tickets going on sale. So, make a nice cup of tea (exactly how you like it) and browse the vast array of brilliant artists at this year’s International Festival.

Clear your calendar for 3-27 August

You’re going to need a clear diary in order to fit everything tetris-style in – but that’s all part of the fun of being in Edinburgh during August. Plus, our website will help make planning your time here that much easier.

A good tip is to start with one-night-only shows and fit multiple performance events around them. We want to keep you busy, but don’t forget about making space for some rest time in between the shows…or not!

Don’t delay booking your must-see shows

When tickets do go on sale, avoid FOMO by getting in quick! Choose a booking method that is the most convenient for you: online at, over the phone on 0131 473 2000 or in person in Hub Tickets.
